Boston Micro Fabrication Announces Management Changes

Top leadership undergoes a tactical shift.

Boston Micro Fabrication (BMF) has instituted several strategic management changes designed to support its next phase of growth and execution.

Bryan Ferrand is now company president and Donna Kelly is chief operating officer of BMF Precision Inc.  John Kawola transitioned from CEO to strategic advisor, supporting the leadership team and the company’s long-term direction.

“John has been a tremendous partner to me and has helped us build BMF from the ground up.  He has also built a strong team that is able to step up and bring BMF to the next level,” BMF Chairman Dr. Xioaning He stated.

BMF has built its position in the market through its micro-precision 3D printing platform and its focus on advanced manufacturing applications that require ultra-high resolution, accuracy, and precision.

The leadership appointments reflect the company’s commitment to operational excellence, customer success, and continued innovation as demand grows across industries including medical devices, electronics, biotechnology, and other high-value manufacturing applications.

“BMF is a remarkable company with exceptional technology, a strong team, and a bright future,” Kawola said. “I have tremendous confidence in Bryan, Donna, and the broader leadership team as they guide the company forward. I plan to remain a long-term adviser to the leadership team and a strong believer in BMF and its continued success.”

Boston Micro Fabrication enables highly precise micro-scale 3D printing across the healthcare, life sciences, electronics, and machining industries. Using the company’s proprietary PμSL (Projection Micro Stereolithography) technology, the microArch system printers produce accurate and precise high-resolution 3D prints for product development, research, and industrial short-run production. Founded in 2016, BMF has offices in Boston, Shenzhen, Chongqing, and Tokyo.
